The Campaign to End Chronic Homelessness

When Catholic Community Services in Seattle opened Ozanam House, a 56 unit facility for chronically homeless men, United Way asked Dan Lamont to document the event. Dan, who has covered social issues for many years, knew the ribbon cutting was predictable but that a deeper story might come from interviews with some of the Ozanam residents.
Dan paired the interviews with new images and existing photographs from his previous work on this subject, then assembled the elements in a Flash slide show that has been a key feature of United Way's Campaign to End Chronic Homelessness. Photographs from the presentation have also been used extensively in other web applications and print pieces and the audio played a critical role as a speaker support tool at public education and fund raising events.
